What brought me to yoga....

  Growing up I was not involved in any sports yet enjoyed being outdoors. Running around my back yard or going for hikes even horseback riding.. never did the thought of yoga cross my mind once...

 I found Yoga at a very interesting time in my life. A transitional period. I had just left a relationship and was looking to find my calling. I stepped into my first yoga class with zero expectations unsure of what was to come. It was one of the hardest things I had ever done. I recall feeling as if everyone was looking at me or judging me. I continued to walk through those doors every Friday morning until something started to happen... I started understanding my guides words , her cues for breath and linking the breath to each movement. Suddenly those layers of insecurities started melting away like MAGIC! 

 8 years later I am now a 200 hour Certified Yoga instructor and a certified Aerial Yoga Instructor. My goal as an instructor is for my students to feel comfortable in the skin they are in. Being aware of how powerful their breath and movement combined can be. Teaching each student that they too can get through these poses and so much more on their journey of yoga and journey on life! 

 Yoga is about healing and about feeling good mentally and physically. We together can heal there is a teacher inside each and every one of us.  'My mission as an instructor is to enhance the mind, body and soul through teaching students how to connect their breath allowing them to enjoy yoga on and off their mats."
